Faster Hair Growth Blockers

You may want to increase your rate of hair growth to a very fast rate, but first, you want to be sure you’re not doing anything that is known to slow your hair’s growing rate. Listed below are some things that can lead to hair loss (not what you want if you want hair growth!). Avoiding these things is the first step to helping your hair grow faster!

Stress

Everybody encounters stress: on the job, idiot drivers during your commute, at home, when the toilet is backed up, etc. Excessive stress damages your body’s immune system and can inhibit hair regrowth. How you choose to cope with stress can relieve it and bring down the effect stress has on your body. Exercise and working out are effective ways to deal with stress. So is meditation and, on top of most men’s list, sex.

Medications

Some medications can affect hair regrowth. If this is important to you, always check with your doctor to see how the medication they prescribed will affect your hair. Most doctors can prescribe a different type of medication that’s just as effective, but with different side effects.

Nicotine - bad for hair

Besides being bad in general, nicotine also lessens hair regeneration. This addictive drug already have bad side effects: lung cancer, mouth cancer, addictions, but nicotine can also affect your hair. Just stay away from cigarettes, cigars and tobacco. Bad for your body, bad for your hair.

Hot Water, Hot Dryers - can damage hair

Excessive heat can damage your hair and cause it to grow slower. When you wash your hair, make sure the water temperature is moderate. When you blow dry your hair, don’t keep the hair dryer too close to you hair. Make sure to express your concerns to your hair dresser as well when you go in for your monthly hair appointment. Don’t forget about your hot curling iron either!

Chemicals - bad news for hair

Bleach, perms and straighteners all introduce chemicals that may be harmful to hair regrowth. You may need to weigh your desire for long hair with your desire for how these products make your hair look. Or you can always let your hair grow out to the length you want first and then apply these products.

If you want your hair to grow faster, before doing things to encourage its growth, you must first avoid things that’ll inhibit it. Hopefully, this list will help you to avoid those things. This is not an exhaustive list, but contains the major things that inhibit faster hair growth.
